About the Beneficiary
Space Station Explorers, the education arm of the International Space Station (ISS) U.S. National Laboratory, connects educators and learners with a growing community of partner organizations that make science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) learning fun and exciting through connections with the ISS National Lab. Space Station Explorers collaborates with many partner organizations on innovative programs and resources for K-12 students, educators, and the public, including opportunities to design experiments to launch to space! Join us as we celebrate the 20th anniversary of humans living and working continuously onboard the International Space Station, advancing scientific knowledge and demonstrating new technologies, enabling research breakthroughs not possible on Earth that will drive long-duration space exploration and benefit life on our planet.
A portion of the proceeds from this virtual race (at least $5 from each registration) will be donated to the Center for the Advancement of Science in Space – Manager of the International Space Station U.S. National Laboratory, for the Space Station Explorers STEM education Space School Labs program.
