About this Virtual Run: Are you ready for an exciting adventure? Join the Quest for the Golden Doubloon virtual race and experience the thrill of hunting for lost treasure while supporting a charity dedicated to saving the world’s coral reefs. You can run, walk, bike, or swim a 5k, 10k, or Half Marathon, or create your own Custom Challenge. Most participants will receive a stunning 4″ shipwreck medal with a replica silver coin (a doubloon) under the hinged compass, but here’s the exciting part: 10 lucky medals will include a special GOLDEN COIN instead. If your medal contains a lucky GOLDEN COIN, you will win a $100 Virtual Strides store credit!
As always, medals will be shipped after you upload your results or at the end of the virtual race period, whichever comes first. Medals containing GOLDEN COINS will be randomly distributed to Quest for the Golden Doubloon participants throughout the race period. For complete contest rules and details, please read the Official Rules.
Found a Golden Coin? Fill out the Quest for the Golden Doubloon Prize Claim Form by 11:59 p.m. EDT on November 30, 2023 in order to claim your prize!
About the Charity: The mission of the Coral Reef Alliance is to save the world’s coral reefs. They work at local, regional, and global levels to keep coral reefs healthy, so they can adapt to climate change and survive for generations to come. As one of the largest global NGOs focused exclusively on protecting coral reefs, the Coral Reef Alliance (CORAL) has used cutting-edge science and community engagement for nearly 30 years to reduce direct threats to reefs and to promote scalable and effective solutions for their protection.
A portion of the proceeds from this virtual race (at least $5 from each registration) will be donated to The Coral Reef Alliance. For more information or to make a direct contribution, please visit Coral.org.
